I am happy to announce that I've been nominated for Best Travel Blog Awards. Austin photographer, Jack Hollingsworth and I got started on Twitter about the same time and most likely in photography about the same time too. Being nominated along with Jack certainly elevates my opinion of this award. Another friend and fellow Coloradan is among the nominated. Kara Williams from Carbondale is nominated as one of The Vacation Gals. Their blog just won a very prestigious Gold Medal from Society of American Travel Writers(SATW) Lowell Thomas Awards.
