"Travel is the healthiest addiction"

I saw this quote on line earlier today and didn't like the imagery associated with the examples I found so I decided to make my own travel poster to share on social media sites.  I decided to publish it here on Travel Boldly first. Please feel free to share it on Pinterest or other social media outlets.

Details: I made this photo in front of the El Cid Castilla Hotel with the Liquid Image EGO 1080HD camera during my trip to Mazatlan, Mexico for Carnival earlier this year.  Mazatlan does have some amazing sunsets.

The EGO is very compact and also waterproof.  It shoots 720 and 1080HD video and has both single shot and continuous still photograph modes.  I'll be doing a full review of the EGO later this year.  It was a great camera to have on hand for using during Carnival.

Rudyard Kipling
"The Friends"

I had some friends --- but I dreamed that they were dead ---
Who used to dance with lanterns round a little boy in bed.
Green and white lanterns that waved to and fro:
And I haven't seen a Firefly now since ever so long ago!

I had some friends --- their crowns were in the sky ---
Who used to nod and whisper when a little boy went by,
As the nuts began to tumble and the breeze began to blow:
And I haven't seen a Coco-palm since ever so long ago!

I had a friend --- he came up from Cape Horn,
With a Coal-sack on his shoulder when a little boy was born:
He heard me learn to talk, and he helped me thrive and grow:
And I haven't seen the Southern Cross since ever so long ago!

I had a boat --- I out and let her drive,
Till I found my dreams were foolish, and my friends were all alive.
The Coco-palms were real, and the Southern Cross was true:
And the Fireflies were dancing --- so I danced too!

"Sunset on Ipanema Beach"

A father and his children walk along the beach at Ipanema as the sun hovers on the horizon. The ridges of Two Brothers mountain looms above the magenta sands of last light on the beach. Ipanema is wonderful place for outdoor activities especially as night falls as many areas of the beach are lit at night and are used by volleyball, soccer, and foot volley players as well runner, bikers and people out for a night time stroll.
