"Chairs"
A row of Adirondack chairs near the town Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada, creates an intensely colorful composition. I shot several versions of this image but felt the compactness of this images which is exacerbated by the use of a telephoto lens made the best image. This image is not color enhanced in the digital sense though it was created with 35mm high saturation color transparency film. I have considered retouching the image slightly to remove grass blades that rise against the yellow leg of the front chair --- so far I have resisted.
This image was featured in my exhibit as a 40" x 60" / 100cm x 150cm digital print. The 40"x60" print from the show is now in a private collection. Prints available for purchase.

Great photo! Thanks for sharing the Nova Scotia love. Hope you'll be able to capture the beauty of the Authentic Seacoast on Chedabucto Bay one day
ReplyDeleteYes I hope to visit your neck of the Nova Scotia "woods" someday soon. I did get fairly close last time but did not get to explore much. I think Port Hawkesbury is as close as I got.
ReplyDeleteI am due for a return to Nova Scotia soon.
